We use the entire day to stimulate and support the children in their language development. Every action, every game is accompanied by language. Language learning is ever present and by default becomes everyday integrated language education.
Everyday integrated language education starts with the very youngest children.
This can be observed in the one-to-one situations, changing diapers, brushing teeth, during meal times, morning circle, activities or in free play. Through the accompanying verbalisation of actions, everyday events and play situations, the child receives linguistic impetus from trusted educators on a daily basis.
As our children grow older, their language competence develops through the learning of songs, telling stories, role-play and communicating with each other, which develops significantly. In this way, children quickly develop an intuitive knowledge and feeling for language, which one of the primary goals of preschool language development.
Our pedagogical staff as role models for language learning, our language-stimulating interior design as well as the selection of materials all hold a special role in promoting an authentic language-learning environment.
We actively involve parents in the language education of their children by encouraging them to speak to their children in their native languages, to discuss a wide range of topics, and to give their children the opportunity to learn about their own heritage.
